March already!

Well, February came and went like the wind! March is here and time marches swiftly towards the summer of me riding across the good ole' USA. The training program is going well, feeling stronger and am 25lbs lighter! Fundraising is well under way and have reached almost 1/2 way towards my goal. Idaho, it can't decide if it is spring or still winter. Wish it would make up it's mind so I can start commuting the 20 miles to work.

Speaking of work, I was the Charge Nurse last week when a extremely intoxicated mid 60's y/o lady brought her dauchshound mix dog into the E.R. because it's labor was not progressing and only 2 of the 4 puppies had been born and she wanted us to do a c-section in the E.R.. After a lengthy discussion on why we couldn't do it...it is a (Human) hospital afterall, we called an emergency Vet clinic and arranged for her to take her doggy there. Boy, we just never get enough strange shit happening!!!!!
